This portfolio marks all the programming I have accomplished since I began keeping the programs I made. I actually began programming in high school with C, and continued in college using C++. I have always really enjoyed programming, and look forward to building this portion of my portfolio. I have no problem slowing down while programming to make sure I am methodical about my code. I prefer my code to look as clean as I can get it so others can follow. On the other hand, I am great with deadlines and do not procrastinate on a project. I also will not back down from a challenge: I will learn everything I can to solve a problem in a timely and efficient manner.
I was never required to learn all of these special skills, but I did it any way because of my intense love of learning. Once I began teaching engineering seven years ago, I wanted to soak up absolutely everything I could about the field of engineering. As a result, I learned many programs inside and out through my teaching. The absolute best way to learn something is by teaching it to someone else, and as a result I have an impressive list of skills that most software engineers do not possess. They include:
Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor CAD Design

Electronic Design using Autodesk and breadboard soldering
3D printing techniques, MakerBot and Makerware, Thingiverse

Education and Career Portfolio:
I have a strong and successful background in teaching, teamwork, and leadership. I have proven myself over and over again by creating and leading teams, marketing programs, recruiting and retaining statistically uninterested students, and implementing cutting edge technology and laboratory work in my teaching designs. I also prefer leading and working with a team. I always rally teachers around me to build great projects for students and design common assessments that are both informational for the teacher and relevant for the student. I have kept up to date on current teaching trends, and have advocated for the advancement of STEM in to all areas of school and life. I have received much acknowledgement for my success in teaching, both at a local level and at the state/national level. I have shown great passion for my craftsmanship as a teacher, and have great desire to apply what I learned in teaching to a programming career. Some of my accolades include:
